I'll try and keep my tale of woe short! Last Monday when I went to my knitting group I was a bit grumpy to start with and then just kept making mistakes then going back and fixing them, so effectively got nothing done! It wasn't a good night for any of us we all made mistakes!
Then on Wednesday my in-laws came and I didn't really get a chance to knit so was really looking forward to Sunday night; watching the Olympics and knitting! However, I just felt knackered and when I woke up on Monday my chest felt tight and my asthma has been playing up so I haven't really got the energy to knit!
Anyway here's what baby yoda looks like today
I've also noticed a small mistake in one of the finished pieces that I'll have to fix, grrr!
Hope you're all having better knitting adventures than I am!
Gosh, the last few days were not your best knitting days, but the coming days will be great. Enjoy your knitting! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment and the positive vibes!
DeleteI hate nights like that! Tme is so precious.
ReplyDeleteThank you, that's exactly how I feel, time is so precious! I hate wasting it on mistakes!
DeleteYou will get there slowly but surely. When you feel like you need rest - you go rest. I fell asleep last night without knitting a stitch. I felt guilty this morning but I guess I needed the sleep!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Its silly really feeling guilty, but I do!
DeleteHope you feel better! I was close to 3/4 done with a shawl when I decided I didn't like the way I used the colors and ripped back to 1/4 done. Now I am just getting to the point where I was before ripping out. 3 days of knitting gone in a flash. Why does it takes so little time to rip out that which took so long to knit?
ReplyDeleteAw it's frustrating when a project doesn't seem to want to behave. Maybe you need to set it aside for a bit and work on something else?
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better now. And don't worry, maybe this week wasn't your knitting week (it wasn't mine either) but this changes again, for sure!
